News & Events

Join me at University Bookstore (Hilldale Mall location) in Madison, Wisconsin on May 17th. I am hosting a children’s storytime at 10 am in honor of Indie’s First Storytime Day. For this event, authors across the country will be gathering at their favorite local bookstores to read in honor of Children’s Book Week. I will be reading my three favorite children’s books out loud (and signing copies of my own books, of course). Come down and support your local bookstore!

    Hi Katie!

For some reason I’ve lost your personal email, so I am using this public and indirect way of getting a hold of you. I don’t want to lose contact, and wanted you to know that I got a teacher to actually use Awaken as a class novel!!!! I’m so excited, and so is she. Also, Costco magazine just had a huge article about digital school. It was about the man that is working on it and it’s benefits. I totally thought about you. If you haven’t seen it, I would be happy to send it to you. When you have a chance, get a hold of me with some contact information. Oregon misses you, and if you ever come back to visit, I want to snatch you up to come to our school again. We love you at North Albany Middle School.

    I hope you’re doing well!

    Hi Katie,
Students are checking out your Awaken and Middle Ground like crazy! I just donated another copy of Awaken to the library(Memorial Middle School). When is the third in the trilogy coming out?

    Wishing you the best!

    Hi Katie!
Well, its official! My class has decided that we must read Awaken….YEAH! My question is….are there any discussion/teacher/reader questions out there in cyberspace that I can use to teach the novel? I’ve been surfing but there is nothing. Thanks a bunch!

hi katie, i hope you are enjoying your newish home, i know you moved last year but i haven’t had time to contact you. i don’t know if you remember me, but 2 years ago, you responded to an email of mine and then you came to my school. i have been re-reading first comes love and really can’t get over it, because my whole life i have been aspiring to be somebody like dylan and after reading this book i feel like i can finally be who i want and not care about what other people think and just be free. i am also dying to know what happens in your third book to the awaken series, i am absolutely dying to know.

When will Still Point be available in print? There are still paperback lovers out here supporting you. Its been a long wait & I find it beyond unfair that the third & final installment of the this trilogy is only available electronically. Ive waited so long for this only to be let down.

  6. Olivia says:

So when will there be an Awaken/MiddleGround/StillPoing movie? It’s energetic, creative and current enough to beat the Divergent series point blank.
